What's New for the 2026 Nissan Z?

To pay homage to the fourth-generation Z sports car, Nissan has added a new Heritage Edition trim to the lineup. Its exclusive Midnight Purple paint job and striking bronze-alloy wheels make a serious statement. Retro-inspired "Twin Turbo" graphics add to this trim's exclusivity. On the rear, you'll find a carbon-fiber ducktail spoiler. Meanwhile, Z Sport and Performance trims now offer a new Boulder Gray paint color that comes with a black roof.

What Are the 2026 Nissan Z Trims & Features?

Nissan offers the Z in four trim grades: Sport, Performance, Heritage Edition, and NISMO. Not only does the entry-level Sport trim offer an engaging driving experience, but it also provides several popular features. Highlights include an 8.0-inch NissanConnect touchscreen, a fully digital gauge display, push-button start, and automatic climate control.

Equipped with larger brakes and a mechanical, limited-slip differential, the Z Performance is an even more capable driving machine. It also adds some premium upgrades. While power-adjustable seats elevate comfort, an eight-speaker Bose premium audio system gives your music a more captivating sound. Other niceties include leather-appointed seats, a configurable 9.0-inch touchscreen with navigation, and wireless smartphone connectivity.

New for 2026 is the head-turning Z Heritage Edition. Its unique styling treatments are destined to grab your attention.

The track-ready NISMO trim brings another level of performance. It comes equipped with a number of racy features, including a high-performance oil cooler and a NISMO-tuned suspension. On the inside, you'll find Recaro front bucket seats.
