What's New for the 2022 Nissan Armada?
The Nissan Armada continues to be a family favorite near Phoenix. Last year, this SUV got an update to its exterior style and some extra tech features. For the 2022 model, the Armada is gaining a power-folding third-row on its ultra-luxurious Platinum trim level.
2022 Armada Trims & Features
There are three trim levels for the Armada in 2022. First, there is the entry-level SV. It has plenty of popular features, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and wireless device charging. Push-button start and dual-zone automatic climate control are also on the standard feature list.
The SL model sits in the middle of the Armada trim list. It adds a remote start, a power liftgate, and a moonroof. The top Platinum trim level finishes the Armada off with things like a heated steering wheel, climate-controlled front seats, heated second-row seats, and a rear-seat entertainment system.
2022 Nissan Armada Horsepower
All three 2022 Nissan Armada models are powered by a 5.6L V8 engine. It creates 400-horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, which is perfect for moving this large SUV around in town and on the highway. Paired with the engine is a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, although four-wheel drive is an option.
Nissan Armada Safety
The Armada has safety features that help protect drivers from all angles. Standard features include adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keep assist. Both forward and reverse automatic emergency braking are included as well. As for available features, select 2022 Armada models add traffic sign recognition and a surround-view camera system.
