Four Trims & an Abundance of Features

There are four trim levels in the Nissan Pathfinder to choose from. Starting with the base model, they are the S, SV, SL, and Platinum. The S is available in both a two-wheel drive and a front-wheel drive version. Its standout features include tri-zone climate control, an eight-inch infotainment system with complimentary XM radio subscription, and a flexible seating design with split-folding second and third-row seats that can maximize space when needed. A backup camera is standard, as are dual 12V charging outlets to keep your devices ready for use. There is also a backup camera and a driver display that shows the car's real-time performance data.

The SV adds hands-free connectivity to the infotainment system. It also has a microfilter in the cabin to help purify the air. Front and back reading lights are also standard in this trim level. For convenience, you'll find controls mounted on the steering wheel. Moving up to the SL, you'll get leather seats and heated seats. Low-beam LED lights are also standard on this trim, as is a motion-activated liftgate. A standout feature is the surround-vision monitor that warns you of any objects in your way, no matter which direction you're traveling. Progressing to the top-level Platinum, you will upgrade to a 13-speaker Bose sound system. This trim comes with cooled front seats and a panoramic moonroof. On the outside, the car is distinctive with 20-inch alloy wheels.

One Powerful Engine Paired with Two Drivetrains

The engine is paired with an automatic transmission system that uses continuously variable valve technology to give you the smoothest gear-shifting experience possible. Two-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain, but you can choose to get front-wheel drive instead if you prefer. New for this year, you can get a suite of standard driver aids to make driving in all conditions easier, such as hill start assist, traction control, and hill descent control, which is a feature available only on the 4WD versions of the Pathfinder.
