Nissan equips the new vehicles that it sells with standard factory warranties for your peace of mind and quality assurance. There are a series of factory warranties that come with new Nissan vehicles. New Vehicle Limited Warranty

This warranty includes coverage for any necessary repairs or parts that must be replaced due to defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty lasts up to 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Powertrain Warranties

The Powertrain Warranty from Nissan covers parts to repair and replacement for up to 60,000 miles or 60 months, whichever is first. This coverage plan applies to the drivetrain, transaxle, transmission, engine, and restraint system.

Emission Control Warranty

The Emission Performance warranty will remedy any issue in your vehicle which causes it to fail any approved emissions test during the first 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The Emission Defects warranty covers the cost of replacing or repairing damaged or defective emissions components which would cause your vehicle not to meet applicable emissions standards. Seat Belt Limited Warranty

If a Nissan-supplied seat belt in your vehicle fails to work correctly during the first ten years of vehicle ownership, it will be replaced at no cost to you. Associated labor is also free of charge.

Tire Limited Warranty

Nissan vehicles are also covered by tire warranties. Consult your driver's manual for the precise warranty that comes with your car, as the tire warranty will vary depending on the tire manufacturer.

Corrosion Protection

Nissan's Corrosion Protection plan includes protection for body panels made of sheet metal that develop rust or corrosion within the first 60 months you own the car, regardless of how many miles you put on the vehicle. The cost of labor is also covered through the warranty.

MPP Plans

Some drivers want extra protection when they buy a new Nissan. Your Nissan can be further equipped with MPP plans that provide supplemental coverage for lease wear, along with GAP coverage, extended Nissan warranties for service and maintenance contracts, and warranties for older Nissan cars not covered through factory warranties.
