What's New for the 2018 Nissan Murano?

Music to its customers' ears, Nissan has equipped the 2018 Murano with a list of desirable amenities that were previously only available as add-on features, but come standard in the latest model. This includes an automatic emergency braking system and a forward collision warning. Looking at the interior and exterior through a fresh lens, Nissan also gave the 2018 Murano a redesigned center console that is easier for drivers and passengers to access. Technology is also given quite a bit of attention in the new Murano, which is a tech-savvy vehicle equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a large touchscreen with manual controls and integrated navigation. Along with the standard amenities found in all 2018 trim levels, there are a number of add-on features available across all trim levels as well as for certain trims.

The S also has LED daytime running headlights, LED tail lights, and power side mirrors with LED turn signals. A push-to-start button and driver assist display are highlights of the interior. Some optional accessories for this trim are an impact sensor, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a wireless smartphone charger. The next trim level is the SV. The SV has the same standard features of the S plus more. A blind spot warning, a snazzy leather-wrapped steering wheel, remote starting, a 10-way driver's seat, and fog lights are other standard amenities of the SV. Splash guards, interior accent lighting, a tow kit and a dealer-installed impact sensor are optional add-on amenities. Heated leather seats, a panoramic mirror, intelligent cruise control, a motion-activated liftgate, a Bose audio system, and ambient lighting are standard features in the SL.
