Inside, the 2016 Nissan Sentra in Phoenix continues to come with a great selection of incredible components. The cabin features a new steering wheel, center cluster, console and shifter knob, along with high-quality materials. When it comes to tech offerings, the sedan is available with NissanConnectSM powered by SiriusXM, Dual Zone Automatic Climate Control and a Bose Premium stereo system. Aside from these features, the Sentra is available with a collection of advanced safety components, including Blind Spot Warning, Forward Emergency Braking, Intelligent Cruise Control and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. 2016 is the first year these safety technologies are being offered on the sedan.
The same 1.8L four-cylinder engine found on last year's model is once again outfitted on the 2016 Nissan Sentra in Phoenix. Generating 130 horsepower and 128 lb.-ft. of torque, the displacement is mated to an Xtronic transmission on all models; however, owners of the S trim can mate the four-cylinder to a six-speed manual instead. With the Xtronic transmission, the sedan is able to produce an EPA-estimated 33 mpg combined, 29 city and 39 highway, which makes the Sentra one of the most fuel-efficient options in its class.
