Coming into 2016, the Nissan Juke, Juke Nismo and Juke Nismo RS have only been slightly updated. The standard Juke hatchback offers two special edition models, the Black and Yellow Stinger Editions, which feature unique paint jobs and interior components that complement each other. The biggest change on the 2016 Nissan Juke in Phoenix is the addition of the new Stinger Edition models. The Yellow Stinger Edition sports a yellow paint job, 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and black door handles, outside mirrors and a rear spoiler, while the Black Stinger dons a black paint job, 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and yellow door handles, outside mirrors and a rear spoiler. Both models also come with a black and yellow interior that complements their exterior paint jobs. In addition to this, all Juke models feature standard Siri Eyes Free, which is available to iPhone users. This allows access from the car's steering wheel in an effort to eliminate distractions and enhance functionality.
A turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder engine, delivering 188 horsepower and 177 lb.-ft. of torque, is outfitted on the standard Juke and Juke Nismo. The Nismo RS model receives a revised version of the same engine that delivers 215 horsepower and 210 lb.-ft. of torque on front-wheel drive models; all-wheel drive variants churn out 211 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. S and SL trims offered on the Juke come standard with a continuously variable transmission, while the SV, Nismo and Nismo RS can be fitted with either a CVT or six-speed manual. Standard manual-equipped versions of the 2016 Nissan Juke in Phoenix offer the most fuel efficiency: 30 mpg combined, 28 city and 34 highway.
