A top choice in the midsize pickup segment, the 2016 Nissan Frontier in Phoenix offers excellent on- and off-road performance and comes with a wide variety of great features. For the new model year, the Frontier is once again available in five trims ¬- S, SV, PRO-4X, Desert Runner and SL - as well as two body styles, King Cab and Crew Cab, and two driveline configurations: 4x2 and 4x4. For new buyers of the 2016 Nissan Frontier in Phoenix, a multitude of fresh exterior paint colors are now available across the lineup. Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic and Forged Copper join the color palette this year, expanding the number of options to eight. Aside from this addition for 2016, all Crew Cab SV variants of the pickup now come with a moonroof. Perfect for cool fall days in the Valley, the moonroof allows drivers to enjoy a nice breeze while cruising across town during their daily commute.
If you're interested in purchasing an extended cab S or SV Frontier model, you'll get the chance to take advantage of a 2.5L four-cylinder engine, generating 152 horsepower and 171 lb.-ft. of torque. Standard on the remainder of the lineup is a 4.0L V6 engine, delivering 261 horsepower and 281 lb.-ft. of torque. If properly equipped, models with the four-cylinder can tow up to 3,500 pounds, while V6 versions can tow up to 6,500 pounds.
