Specs at a Glance
No matter which trim level of the 2025 Nissan Armada you buy, you'll enjoy a fully refreshed vehicle with a stronger, more powerful engine, more safety aids, and the latest in technology. The Nissan Armada is a solid all-around SUV, but there are also some key differences among the trim levels that might aid you in deciding which trim is right for you. Two top choices are the SV, which is the base model and has much to offer while keeping the price in mind, and the SL, which is the second trim in the lineup that adds more bells and whistles.
Performance
Performance features are the same for both trim levels. This year's Nissan Armada uses a twin-turbo V6 engine that generates up to 425 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. The Armada also has a nine-speed automatic transmission. The SV and SL both come with standard rear-wheel drive but the option to get four-wheel drive instead if you prefer.
Appearance
The SV and SL have a few variations in their appearance. The SV has 18-inch wheels, while the SL has slightly larger 20-inch wheels. Both models have alloy wheels. Automatic LED lights and roof rails are standard on the SV and SL, and both have running boards to make entering and exiting the car safer and easier. Inside, the SL has seats that are made of soft synthetic leather for a more upscale look and more comfortable ride. An available package for the SL called the ProPilot Assist 2.1 adds ambient interior lighting along with more technology.
Features
The SL has many standard features, including a power-adjustable driver's seat that moves in eight ways, tri-zone climate control, a 12.3-inch digital display, an infotainment screen of the same size, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with smartphone pairing. The SL also has a power-adjustable seat for the front passenger. Both front seats are heated in the SL, and you'll get a heated steering wheel for added comfort. The SL has an upgraded sound system with 12 speakers, along with Alexa and integrated navigation.
Numerous safety aids come with both trims. The SV has adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic warning, rear automatic braking, blind-spot intervention, and lane centering. The SL adds a panoramic camera system to that list, along with Nissan's backup trailer assist technology. Automated driving technology is available on the SL with the addition of a package.
