Image: 2026 Nissan Rogue Achieves 2025 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK Thanks to Upgraded Crash Safety

Already one of Nissan's most popular family vehicles, the Rogue returns for the 2026 model year with updated crash structure and improved restraint systems. These changes helped the SUV earn a 2025 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK award. Due to the Rogue's enhanced impact protection, every passenger can now travel with an increased sense of security.

To be chosen as a 2025 TOP SAFETY PICK, the IIHS requires vehicles to earn a "Good" rating in the organization's small overlap front and side crash tests. Automobiles must also receive a rating of "Acceptable" or higher in the updated moderate overlap front test. "Acceptable" or "Good" ratings for pedestrian front crash prevention and headlights further certify an IIHS Top Safety Pick.

Safety Shield 360 Features

Not only does the 2026 Nissan Rogue provide outstanding crash protection, but it also comes standard with Safety Shield 360 features. When preparing to change lanes, Blind Spot Warning alerts you to approaching vehicles in your blind spot. Designed to predict the potential impact of two cars ahead, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning further enhances your awareness while driving. Other driver-assistance features include Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Automatic Braking, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and High Beam Assist.

While a traditional rearview camera comes standard, higher trim levels offer a 360-degree Intelligent Around View Monitor. Available ProPILOT Assist combines Intelligent Cruise Control and Steering Assist to promote even smoother highway driving.
