What's New for the 2024 Nissan Altima?

Nissan's Altima has made families happy for many generations and continues that trend with an all-new 2024 design. Expect slight variations on their S and SV trims, including upgraded driver-assist features. What are the 2024 Altima Trims & Features?

The latest Altima comes in S, SV, SR, SR VC-Turbo, and SL trims, each ready to care for a different kind of buyer. This year's Available paint options include Deep Blue Pearl, Brilliant Silver, Super Black, and Scarlet Ember. Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard on every trim, but all trim levels will have exterior and interior variations. For example, the S trim has standard 16" steel wheels with wheel covers. Opt for the SR VC-Turbo; your Altima comes with 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels. Nissan offers many different grille options for their Altima, including a dark chrome V-Motion grille for their VC-Turbo and a chrome V-Motion for their S trim. Cloth seating is standard on early Altima trims, but leather-appointed seats are standard on high trims of the Altima.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 Altima Have?

Nissan sticks with the 2.5L direct-injected 4-cylinder engine this year for their first trims. The base engine produces 188 horsepower and offers ample power that achieves an impressive 39 mpg on the highway. Alternatively, you can opt for the turbocharged, variable-compression four-cylinder engine, which delivers a robust 248 horsepower when using premium fuel while maintaining a commendable 34 mpg on the highway. Additionally, all-wheel drive is an optional feature.

What Safety Features Does the 2024 Altima Include

Nissan's distinct blend of safety features is excellent on the new Altima. Standard features across all trims include intelligent forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and blind spot warning. If you want more active safety features, those are available on early trims and standard on late ones. These features include an intelligent around-view monitor, automatic brake hold, and traffic sign recognition.
